Reading logs will be sent home on Monday. Also, next week starts our school book fair. Students went to preview the books available today. It is a buy one get one special, so any student purchasing a book gets any book of lesser value for free.

Hello!
As I look out the window I am reminded that April showers bring May flowers! Take a minute to talk with your child about the environment around us. What do you notice? What animals are there?(squirrels, worms, birds, etc.) How do these animals interact with each other? We will be discussing these questions in the next few weeks in science.

Please remember to be reading each night for 20 minutes. Students are expected to read 100 pages each week. Reading logs are due Fridays!

NO HOMEWORK TODAY!
Reminder: Butterfly Field Trip is Wednesday, April 8. The cost is $8.25 and we still need at least 3 chaperones. Please let me know if you are available. We will be leaving the school at 9 am and returning at 1pm.

Also, parent teacher conferences are Thursday, April 9 from 10am - 6pm. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND THIS. It is very important that we discuss what is expected of your child for the next 10 weeks of school.

Homework:
Study for spelling test and reading test on the story "The Kids Invention Book" page 400 in reading textbook. These tests are tomorrow.

Field trip to Butterfly Garden at Oakland Mall is Wendesday, April 8. The cost is 8.25. We are in need of MANY chaperones. The first five chaperones to reply will attend the trip for free.
